This is a very interesting helmet I got it from someone who bought it directly from the veteran's family Here is what I was told about it. It was sitting in a trench for some time. It made it to the US in 1945. I know the daughter of the officer who brought it home. Not cleaned/restored. This helmet is amazing other than the damage done from it sitting in a trench but it's a very nice original helmet. A few of the liner pins are loose to note and the helmet is a size Q66.
